Traffic is crazy - crossing the road is tough just have to go for it
Good shops for clothes. Nice big shopping centers
Do the cuchi tunnels and mekong delta tour - was unbelievable to see
The history museum is brilliant about the war

BA na hills is the theme park - very few rides but some cool buildings and sites to see.
You get a taxi to the cable car and get it up to the top

We flew to da nang and got a taxi here
Was cheap and we kept our taxi drivers name and he ran us around hoi an and da nang for a week or got other taxi's for us
Can do tailoring but we didn't love and bit of a time grab
Coconut boats are interesting
We loved renting push bikes and cycling around the rice fields and out to the beach
Nice to walk around the old town canal area with the lanterns at night

Can easily skip if no time
We got a train to somewhere from danang and then an hour taxi here
Very very quiet
Was nice - filmed King Kong here so landscape is incredible
Rented a bike and drove around the landscape which was unbelievable
Duck stop is here
They have a huge cave system but we didn't have time for it

Take plenty of cash as to buy drinks you need it.
Meals all paid for
You get a bus from hanoi to ha giang
Stay the night in ha giang and then begin the following morning
